Find joy in eating. Heal internalized shame and connect to your body. Become a fat-positive advocate.

Radical nutrition counseling for bodies of every size

Body Honor Nutrition offers nutrition counseling for individuals who struggle to find peace, nourishment, and joy in eating due to body shame. While taking a firm stance against fatphobia, racism, transphobia, homophobia, ableism, and other forms of discrimination, we recognize the importance of unlearning societal stigmas and utilize radical frameworks to help them heal their relationship to food and body for a better life.

Through compassionate, one-on-one counseling, I’ll help you deepen your connection to your body, redefine health, and find joy in eating foods that you love.

Hi! I’m Kimmie.

I’m not your typical dietitian. For one, I don’t look like the poster image of health you’re used to. And that’s fine because I don’t believe I need to…at least not anymore.

I believe in body positivity and fat liberation. In other words, I don’t think bodies need fixing — rather, they need healing from a society that makes them feel wrong for existing.

And through my own transformative healing journey (and eating disorder recovery), I realized that honoring my body was only possible after liberating myself from toxic diet culture stigmas and openly challenging white supremacist ideals.

I found solidarity in community and an approach to food and body that’s helped me live my most authentic and full life in my current body.

So if you feel like your body is somehow wrong, I’ve been there. And if you’re ready to shed the stigmas, heal, and honor your body — whatever shape, size, or identity — let’s talk!
