Introducing Body Honor Nutrition

I remember when I first created a social media account to start discussing body positivity. I’ll never forget those feelings of nervous butterflies before creating my first post. It was something that I thought about doing for a while but was intimated by the idea of sharing authentically and what being so publicly vulnerable meant for me and my story.

Fast forward a few years and followers later, and I've been lucky enough to share my voice on countless podcasts, presentations, and social media posts to thousands of  followers. When I first created my account I knew it would be worth my time and effort if I could help even one single person. I always try to remember that today in the weird world of internet micro-celebrities.

I tried my best to hold onto this mindset throughout the last year when I decided to launch my own private practice. With each step of this process, I felt those similar nervous butterflies that I felt back in 2018 before creating my first instagram post. Today I’m happy to stand behind the brand that I’ve built. A brand that represents my growth and evolution and both a provider and how I show up in this world.

Body Honor Nutrition will be a home for me to continue to grow as a clinician, business owner, speaker, and fat (and fat-positive) registered dietitian-nutritionist.

As I’ve been approaching my rebrand, I’ve enjoyed reflecting on how far I’ve grown, both personally and professionally, especially in relation to many of the philosophies that influence my work, such as Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size (more on this later). As I step into my new brand, I’m looking forward to what’s to come as I continue to grow and learn. My blog will be a place where I continue to share information about Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, my thoughts on fat body politics, and my food and nutrition philosophies.

Thank you for following my work and valuing my story. I hope that my work will embolden you to take that risk or leap of faith even when you feel those nervous butterflies.
